Our Garden is a short film made by pupils of Curracloe National School, County Wexford, in June 2025. Our narrator, James, takes us on a short tour of some of the plants growing in the organic school garden, how we use cow dung to fertilise plants, how Borage and Lamb’s Ear have increased biodiversity in the garden, and how Plantain can relieve nettle stings. The film was made over two days and shows the childrenharvesting potatoes, onions, and salads from the garden as well as preparations for a plant and produce sale at the school.

Our Initiatives
EU Funding
This school received a grant in 2021 to implement initiatives aimed at addressing the digital divide and support our learners at risk of educational disadvantage as a consequence, as part of the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) a project under the Recovery and Resilience Facility funded by the European Union through NextGeneration EU.
School Updates
It is a joy and a privilege to work with the children, parents and staff in our school. A happy atmosphere with a firm focus on well-being, is our number one priority. We deeply believe that when children are happy, they are in a strong position to learn and achieve their full potential.
